Choosing where you are going to college can be an overwhelming process. One way to narrow down your choices is simple - visit campus! UMKC offers weekday visits 5 days a week for first-time college students as well transfer students. Weekday Visits include a walking tour of campus with a student ambassador, admissions and scholarship overview and an option to meet with the academic unit of your choice.

The UMKC Welcome Center is part of the Admissions Office, and is located on the Volker campus in Room 120 of the Administrative Center. The building address is 5115 Oak Street, Kansas City, MO 64112.

First Time College Student
Students entering into college for the first time will have an oppurtunity to meet with an admissions representative that will discuss student resrouces, major options, housing, finanical aid and scholarhips, as well as take a hour walking tour of campus.

Transfer Students
Students transfering from a 2 or 4-year institioion will have an oppurtunity to meet to discuss student resrouces, major options, housing, finanical aid and scholarhips, as well as take a hour walking tour of campus.

If you indicate you would like an academic appointment, your arrival time may be earlier than the scheduled weekday visit.
