READY TO BUILD A CHALLENGING CAREER IN RETAIL MANAGEMENT?
The Home Depot is seeking demonstrated leaders with the ability to build exceptional teams for our management positions. Candidates should embrace challenges with enthusiasm and creativity and have the motivation, ambition and knowledge to succeed. The Home Depot management team has the ability to make an impact on the lives of their associates and on our growing business.
WHAT IS THE RETAIL MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT? (RMA)
Retail Management Assessment is a comprehensive selection process that enables The Home Depot to assess the skills and abilities of our future retail managers. All qualified candidates go through the same streamlined process.
WHAT DOES RMA INCLUDE?
The assessment tools typically include an interview and behavioral exercises that evaluate a candidate's job knowledge, customer service abilities, and leadership skills. The RMA process consists of career forums at the division or regional level depending on the position. Career Forums are typically one-day events where Assessors (Operations and Divisional Management) evaluate candidates and their specific skill sets. Forums are scheduled on a regular basis and may be a large or
small group event. All forum participants will also be asked to visit a local store as part of the RMA process.
You must complete the Store Walk prior to attending this interview. We require all candidates to visit a store to preview the work environment.
The Store Walk will provide a glimpse of the realities of working in our fast-paced, warehouse environment. During the interview process, you will have the opportunity to discuss your Store Walk experience.
STORE WALK INSTRUCTIONS:
Visit your local Home Depot store (visit www.homedepot.com and click on ‘Store Locator’ to find the nearest store.) If no Home Depot store is near you, immediately contact me for more information.
