Thank you for your continued trust in my service. As I transition into my semi-retirement years, I am updating my business structure to continue providing high precision, concert level service to my clients throughout Southwest Ohio.
Piano Tuning Policy (Effective 8/9/2026)
To book an appointment, please text your zip code directly to 513-345-0276. Online scheduling is open and availability is limited to 6 sessions per week.
Available Hours:
Monday: 9:30 am to 11:15 am, (2 hours break), 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm
Tuesday: 9:30 am to 11:15 am, (2 hours break), 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:30 am to 11:15 am, (2 hours break), 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm
Extended length first tunings are on Thursday or Friday.
Rates and Travel:
Service: 1.75-hour standard tuning
Legacy Clients: $53 flat rate
New Clients: $67 flat rate first 1 hour 45 minutes, else $38 per hour tuner tech rate.
Travel Surcharge: "Travel is billed at $2.00 per mile (round trip), subject to a $20.00 minimum charge." If the client is under 5 miles away: They pay the flat $20.00. Else
If the client is 5 or more miles away: They pay $2.00 x total round-trip miles from Blue Ash , Ohio 45242-6808
Example:
5 Miles one way x 2 round trip x $2 per mile is $20 plus standard tuning $67 is total $87 minimum.
10 Miles one way x 2 round trip x $2 per mile is $40 plus standard tuning $67 is total $107 minimum.
15 Miles one way x 2 round trip x $2 per mile is $60 plus standard tuning $67 is total $127 minimum.
20 Miles one way x 2 round trip x $2 per mile is $80 plus standard tuning $67 is total $147 minimum.
25 Miles one way x 2 round trip x $2 per mile is $100 plus standard tuning $67 is total $167 minimum.
30 Miles one way x 2 round trip x $2 per mile is $120 plus standard tuning $67 is total $187 minimum.
Note: For legacy clients serviced before January 27, 2027, subtract $14 from the total standard quote to account for their $53 tuning rate.

Legacy Client Price Protection
Because you are a loyal, recurring client, I am honoring your previous flat rate of $53 for all service completed through January 26, 2027. The new standard rate will be applied to your account starting in 2027.

Clear the Lid: Please remove all items from the piano top.
Ensure Quiet: A silent room is essential for precision aural tuning.
Lighting: Please ensure the area is well lit for internal inspection.
