Insparations is a part of the May Center for Health, Fitness and Sport . The May Center is one of the premier health and fitness centers in NYC. It is a multi-level complex that boasts more than 125 pieces of exercise equipment, a 25-yard pool (the only indoor pool in NYC primarily disinfected by ozone), whirlpools, saunas and steam rooms. As well the May Center offers over 100 weekly exercise classes, including basketball, volleyball and racquetball.
The 92nd Street Y has been part of the cultural scene in New York City for over 127 years. In keeping with its philosophy of integrating mind, body and spirit, it has undergone the process of a complete renovation of its exercise and fitness division.
