How to Schedule Your Appointments
New General Surgery Patients:
1) Appointment with Surgeon for consult and follow-up.
New Bariatric Patients:
(Weight Loss Surgery Patients):
Please make appointments in the following in the following Order:
1) Discussion Group Meeting
2) Surgeon
3) Dietitian (RD)
(Surgeon and Dietitian appointments can be made on the same day subject to availability)
Bariatric Follow-up Patients:
1) First follow-up within 2 weeks after hospital discharge with Surgeon (or PA or SA)
2) Second Follow-up with Dietitian 3-5 Weeks after Surgery (You Must Bring your Calorie and Gram Count with you)
3) Third Follow-up With PA or SA or Surgeon at 3 months from surgery (You Must Bring your Lab Results with you and those should be complete and should be performed at least 10 days before this visit).
4) Fourth Follow-up with RD at 6 months
5) Fifth Follow-up at 9 Months (Weigh in, visit with MD or other provider as needed)
6) Sixth Follow-up at 1 year out with PA or SA or Surgeon
Annual Follow-ups thereafter With PA or SA or Surgeon
If at any Lab check you have deficiencies, you will need to recheck the blood-work and come in every 6 weeks for a follow-up until your vitamin dose is adjusted and levels are normal.
