Your application is very important to us. LET'S GET STARTED! Important: If you have already applied to ARAMARK Remote Services within the last 12 months, to be fair to people who are applying for the first time, we regret that you must wait a minimum of 1 full year (365 calendar days) before you are eligible to reapply unless we had offered you a job after an interview within the last 12 months or you had worked for us within the last 12 months. If you have not already done so and are available to report for work between October 12th, 2009 and March 31st, 2010, please continue with the steps below as we are currently hiring 400 additional full-time seasonal employees right now. To get things underway, you will need to register as a new user and complete a (Step 1a) or (Step 1c) or (Step 1f) appointment request online form depending on your circumstances. Unfortunately, your application cannot be considered until you have completed 'all' of the following 10 simple steps so please read each step carefully. You may want to print this page to guide you through the different screens. Step 1 - Please click the "Login" button near the top right hand corner of the screen. Step 2 - Please click on the "Enrolment" tab in the upper middle area of the screen. Step 3 - Please fill in the application form. Remember, the information you provide is totally secure and password protected. Your information is only accessible by you and the ARAMARK Remote Services human resources department. Please assist us in making the hiring process as fast as possible for you by providing a working e-mail address (use your own or a friends etc.) when you register so we can notify you of any changes to the status of your applications and appointments. If you do not have access to an e-mail address right now, it would be best if you stop the process for now until you are able to obtain one. If you are unsure of how to set up a free e-mail account, contact your local employment centre for assistance in setting one up and locating free Internet service sites so you can access e-mails that we may send you. Step 4 - Please click on the "Enrol" button at the bottom of the screen. Step 5 - Depending on your circumstances, please click on (Step 1a) or (Step 1c) or (Step 1f) at the bottom left of the screen. Step 6 - By clicking on different days and months on the calendar you can now select an available date and time that you would be available for an interview. Once you find a day and time that is convenient for you, please click on the time button at the bottom of the screen to confirm your selection. Please note that based on survey feedback from applicants, approximately 2% of the time someone else may be in the process of completing their application for exactly the same date and time you have selected. When this happens you will have to redo the application from the beginning. Unfortunately you will not know this has happened until the very end of the application process. We regret the obvious inconvenience this causes but rest assured it is quite uncommon. If you would like to reduce the likelihood of this happening, try selecting a date and time that is not among the very closest available. VERY IMPORTANT: Remember, all times quoted on this website are always quoted in MST=Mountain Standard Time. Step 7 - Please complete the application form. Step 8 - Please click on the "Make Appointment" button at the bottom of the screen. Step 9 - Please click on the "Logout" button at the top right hand corner of the screen. Step 10 - As soon as possible, please forward your resume to recruiting@traversjobs.comt so an ARAMARK Remote Services recruiter will have it during future reviews. Please ensure that your e-mailed resume is in Microsoft Word format (*.DOC), Adobe Portable Document Format (*.PDF), Rich Text Format (*.RTF), or Text formatted ASCII file (*.TXT). Regrettably, any resumes that do not meet these criteria will not be considered or reviewed further. THANK YOU, YOU'RE DONE! - YOUR (STEP 1A) OR (STEP 1C) OR (STEP 1F) APPOINTMENT REQUEST WILL BE CONFIRMED, CANCELLED OR DENIED WITHIN 48-HOURS AND AN E-MAIL WILL BE SENT TO THE ADDRESS YOU PROVIDED. Note: If at anytime you become unavailable for work or have changed your mind, you only need to log into your account and cancel your (Step 1a) or (Step 1c) or (Step 1f) appointment request. Regrettably, due to the high volume of applications being received, we are unable to provide people with the status of their application information that is any more updated than what they can see in their account. Your patience and understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1) I have created an account and requested a date and time and have answered all of the questions but I have not received confirmation that this was received and I feel something is not right. What have I done wrong? You have probably successfully created an account. However, we probably have not received your application yet. Sometimes people don't notice that at the very bottom of the form they have to click "Make Appointment" one more time. 2) When filling out the form, where are the provinces listed? You will find the provinces at the very bottom of the list after the US states. 3) I have just entered my name and address information, am I done? No. You need to complete steps 5-10 where you request an available date and time for a phone interview and answer a number of questions in the (Step 1a) or (Step 1c) or (Step 1f) application. 4) I seem to meet all of your qualification requirements. I would like to know why my application was denied or why have I never been contacted? Some people select "No" instead of "Yes" and vice versa to questions on various application forms. Please take your time and make sure all your answers represent what they should because an incorrect answer may disqualify you. Also, due to the high volume of applications being received, we are not able to contact everyone or offer everyone jobs. 5) Can you explain what the different time zones are? When it is 2:00pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) in Alberta it is 5:30pm NST (Newfoundland Standard Time) add 3 1/2 hours to MST, 5:00pm AST (Atlantic Standard Time) add 3 hours to MST, 4:00pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) add 2 hours to MST, 3:00pm CST (Central Standard Time) add 1 hour to MST, 1:00pm PST (Pacific Standard Time) subtract 1 hour from MST 6) I have made an account and answered a number of questions and completed a number of statements in (Step 1a) or (Step 1c) or (Step 1f) but I have not received an e-mail confirming that the request was received and there is no appointment in "My Appointments" in my account. What do I do? Sometimes people don't notice that at the very bottom of the screen after they have answered all of the questions in the appointment form that they have to click "Make Appointment" one more time. If you do not see an appointment in "My Appointments" then you do not have one and you must complete another one. 7) Why am I not receiving any e-mail from the system even though I provided an e-mail address? Please make sure your e-mail address is 100% correct. The most common mistake that we see is people with yahoo.ca accounts listing their email address as yahoo.com or making a typing mistake in their e-mail address. 8) Why am I not receiving any e-mail responses even when I send them directly to a recruiter? If you are not receiving any e-mail responses to direct inquiries that you are making, chances are that the e-mail address you have set up as the reply address in your e-mail program is incorrect or not functioning. Even though you may see "myemailaddress@hotmail.com" in your sent folder, the actual "reply to" address within your email properties settings may have been misspelled and set up incorrectly as "myemailaddress@otmail.com" for example. So when we try and reply to your e-mail, you never receive our response and it bounces back to us as undeliverable. This can of course be very frustrating for everyone involved. If you have not received a response to your direct e-mail inquiry within 48-hours, please check your e-mail settings or contact your Internet service provider. To ensure your privacy, we will not attempt to contact you at any phone number or e-mail address other than those you have listed in your account. At our discretion, we may attempt to contact you at an alternate phone number provided by someone who answers at a phone number listed in your account. Also for privacy reasons, we will not try and guess the correct e-mail address for someone whose e-mail has bounced back to us. |
| IMPORTANT: Please do not attempt to make an appointment for (Step 2a) Pre-Employment Orientation" or "(Step 2b) Pre-Employment Orientation" or "(Step 3) Arrival Date To The Office" until you have received a conditional written job offer from an ARAMARK Remote Services recruiter. You will know if you have received a conditional written job offer if you receive an e-mail and it has your name on it, it says that it is a conditional written job offer, and it has not expired. Remember, any person who proceeds without authorization for any of these steps will have their account suspended and the recruiting process will have ended permanently for them. Unless otherwise specifically advised, people who arrive to the ARAMARK Remote Services office without (Step 2a) or (Step 2b) being "CONFIRMED", as well as (Step 3) being "CONFIRMED", will not be permitted to stay and will need to leave the premises immediately and continue the normal recruiting process off site regardless of how far they have traveled. |
